Have you ever wondered how to achieve a foundation that looks like it was airbrushed? There really is a science to a flawless face…it’s much more complicated than just slathering your color of foundation all over your face. With these four easy steps I will tell you the secrets to achieving an airbrushed finish.
The first and most important step before you even touch your foundation is making sure you have a moisturized face. If you put foundation over dry skin, it’s going to appear flaky and caked on. Choosing a moisturizer that works for your skin type is key.
Step two is applying a primer so that the foundation has something to stick to. Not only will primer help your foundation stay on longer but it also makes pores appear smaller. This allows the foundation to go on the skin smoothly.
The third step is applying the foundation. Always start from the inside of the face and blend outward. Make sure not to apply too much and unless you need a large amount of coverage, always remember less is more.
The last step is applying a finishing powder. A finishing powder helps set the foundation into place. It’s protects all the hard work you just put into your flawless foundation application. It also gives the foundation a matte finish.
