For DKNY’s 25th anniversary, Donna Karan went back to her 90’s New York style. The Spring 2014 collection pays homage to the designer for the city she loves with 90’s inspired overalls layered under blazers, oversize patched denims, the resurrection of the brands logo and trench coats. The show also featured very sheer maxis, all print everything including sneakers, plus sexy sportswear that’s inspiring to workout in, or at least cute to walk around the neighborhood in.

This takes me back to my “Spice Girls” and “Clueless” days. They ended with DKNY Fall 2013campaign cover girl Rita Ora. The British pop star looked breathtaking with the brand logo top, asymmetrical skirt layered over a sheer pencil slip-skirt not to mention those edgy lace boots.

Would you rock this look spring 2014?
