Rapper/ producer Kid Cudi sparked a lot of controversy this week wearing a red crop top and cut off shorts at this year’s Coachella. The internet was in a frenzy, questioning the artist’s manhood and saying he’s trying to start a trend. But is he really starting a trend? Some of your favorite rappers were wearing crop tops in the mid to late 80’s and athletes trained in them. So the question remains, is Kid Cudi really starting a trend or is he just paying homage to the 80’s. (Style.com)



Newbie Iggy Azalea graced the pages of Elle magazine for their “Women in Music 2014” issue. Inside the mag Azalea dishes on being the voice for girls saying, “I never dove into my personal experience.”  “I always felt like (rap) was escapism, but sometimes you can miss being human.”  (Elle)
