Lupita Nyong’o had one of the best beauty looks on the red carpet of Sunday’s Golden Globe. The actress stun the crowd with her gorgeous Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, her Lancome eyeshadow palette (she named and her makeup artist Nick Barose designed) which completed her dress and a modern yet romantic fro; ” It was a match made in beauty heaven, and that shade of purple is so gorgeous on her skin,” said Barose the lilac pigment washed across her lid.
” I prefer for people to apply mascara themselves- it’s easier to really get in there. The Grandiose brush is bent at the angle, make it easy to do yourself.”
“Hair pro Ted Gibson working his magic on Lupita creating a modern and romantic fro.”
The products used to get Nyong’o’s look: Lancome Genefique Eye Light-Pearl, Aquatique Waterproof Eyecolour Base in Sienne, Bright Eyes Color Design 5- Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Jacaranda Bloom, Nude Miracle Liquid-to-Powder Makeup in Suede 530, Giorgio Armani Mastro Fusion Blush in 400, Les Sourcils Definis in Brown, Kiehl’s Facial Fuel No Shin Lip Balm and Color Design Lipcolor in Hit List.
“Putting on bold lips isn’t hard,” Barose said of Nyong’o’s DIY video. “Always start in the center and swipe out towards the corner- this way, it will be symmetrical.”
